This was the view from the hotel that we stayed at downtown.
The California trolley line started right by our hotel and we used nothing but the trolley to get around the first two days.
The first stop we made was in Chinatown. It really was like being in another country right when we got off the trolley. I didn't really get any great pictures though.
After Chinatown we just walked around and got lost in the city and found some cool views.
Then we went to the the Embarcadero which has all of the piers of San Francisco Bay. The first day we went to the south end that has all of the even numbered piers. We also walked under the Bay Bridge which I thought was much more impressive than the Golden Gate Bridge, just not as cool of a paint job.
The last few pictures of the night. These were all taken around the Ferry Building which is pretty much the center of the Embarcadero.
