This section of Lombard St. is known as the crookedest street.
The next place we went to was Coit Tower, which gives great views of the city if you take the elevator ride to the top.
Next we headed to the piers because we had a ferry to catch to take us to Alcatraz. We had some time to kill before Alcatraz so we checked out Pier 39.
Alcatraz was a very interesting place to visit. The buildings and island weren't particularly amazing, but the tour, the stories and history made it a great stop. I took a lot of pictures so I'll do a separate post for Alcatraz.
The rest of the day we spent around Fisherman's Wharf and we went to Ripley's Believe It or Not Musuem.
